Life With Twins
I have to admit, twins were a little scary sounding when we first discovered out two buns in the oven, but I couldn’t feel more blessed than I do now. See the world through their eyes fills my spirit. They’re so happy and so full of imagination. Not only do they light up my world, but the world of so many others as well.
It’s been quite exciting watching them go through kindergarten. Lots of things I really didn’t expect but am excited to dive into the year. Our evenings now consist of homework, working on the reading eggs app, reading for 20 minutes, dinner, a little play time and then bath and bed. The first two weeks were quite the adjustment for me, but as week three begins to wrap up, I’m feeling great and energized (at least as much as one can feel energized with days that start at 4;30 am, working 10 hours and then coming home into mommy mode. and sometimes, there’s even parent meetings and softball nights). I wouldn’t trade this experience for the world. I just want them to do and be their very best, while letting them still be kids. Balance. That’s what life is all about, right?
Any who, here’s little snippet of some playtime between them before school one morning. I pray they remain this happy and adventurous. It truly warms my heart.
