……that’s what life has been lately but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Left the kids for a week to go on a girls vacation and I had a blast. I’ll be posting pictures and telling you about it in another post, as well as post some Christmas pictures of the babies!

This new year has thus far been a fresh start for me. Taking on new challenges and just enjoying life and my little family! Time is flying by oh so quickly and I want to make sure that I’m enjoying each and every moment of it.

With that said….I tacked the serenity prayer to my cubicle wall  and stuffed a copy in my wallet so that it is a constant reminder of what i want to be and where I need to be. It goes as follows:

The Serenity Prayer:

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.

Couldn’t have said it better myself! Sometimes we just need a reminder to slow down and enjoy the moment!

With that said….my weekend has started it and I’m going to enjoy it with my family. Big stuff happening that I will blog about soon! I promise!
