Labor Day Weekend 2012
It’s been a busy couple of weeks and I’m a little delayed on this post, but better late than never right?
We spent out Labor Day weekend in a BEAUTIFUL cabin located in the North Georgia mountains in a town called Ellijay! My entire family went and we had a ball. From river tubing to roasting s’mores on the fire pit, it was definitely a weekend of much need quality family time!
As usual…I captured the trip via my iPhone and instagram! Here is a look at our adventure:
Tatum was a little under the weather and his summer cold had gotten worse. I took him to the doctor before we left town:
The view from our cabin (you will see this many times):
It was my duty to cook the first breakfast so I made cinnamon bun waffles and a breakfast casserole
Kids took a morning dip in the hot tub
We went tubing down this thing
My husband returned looking like this….one croc and a ripped shirt. River tubing can be ROUGH lol
Someone wants to play at 5:30am and someone else can’t seem to keep her eyes open lol
We walked 425 steps to the top of the falls…..and it wasn’t worth it lol
Preparing the fire to make s’mores
There really is a fire there, I promise!
I prefer mine without chocolate =D
My favorite of all the view pictures I took
All in all, we had a pretty awesome trip! I hope to go back soon!
