Letters to the Little Ones (Happy 4 Month Birthday)
Dear Little Ones,
Today you are 4 months old. It’s a bittersweet moment for your dad and I.
While we love to see you grow up, we can’t help but want you to remain little for a while longer.
The two of you have developed so much in these past 4 months. You both are smiling and reacting to us when we talk to you or are making funny faces. You even have a good grasp on objects and enjoy carrying around your favorite blankies and at this point, keeping objects/fingers out of your mouths is nearly impossible. In the recent months we’ve experienced your first giggles and even eating your first real foods (peaches so far are your favorites and you both eat them like champs)! So many changes have come so fast but we’re loving every minute of it!
Tenley, we love the way your eyes light up at the sight of seeing us (mom and dad). We’re amazed at your beauty and how much people say that you look like a living doll. You are still as laid back as you were at birth, yet getting more talkative by the day! You are absolutely perfect from head to toe. The true definition of an angel!
Tatum, you truly are a joy to us. You are filled with so much personality! Even at 3am when everyone else is still asleep, I (mom) find you smiling and talking to yourself in your crib. Who can’t laugh at that (even if at 3am)? As of late, you’ve begun lifting your head to check out all the action around you. You are more handsome than I ever imagined and I can already see that I’m going to have to fight the ladies off with a stick (and I have no problem doing so)! 😉
Our little blessings. We are so proud to be your parents. We never imagined being able to feel a love like this. Parenthood is the greatest feeling/blessing in the world and we can’t wait for the both of you to one day experience it as well with your own children.
Here is to 4 months, and many more to come!
Happy 4 Month Birthday!!
Love forever and always,
Mommy and Daddy
