……..yeah so, I have been seeing this thing called cookie butter all over Pinterest and Instagram. When I saw it my first thought was: “I need this in my life….right now!” The only problem is that the cookie butter is only sold at Trader Joe’s and there isn’t one that’s close to my home. I’d have to make a special stop to get there.

Today while out to lunch with a co-worker, there happened to be a Trader Joe’s right next to it! I was so excited I almost wet my work pants! I told her that we HAD to stop in there for a few minutes so that I could grab a jar of cookie butter. After I purchased it ($3.69) I could not wait to get home and crack it open. In addition to the cookie butter, I also purchase a mango butter and a honey apple butter. Both of which are like jams and I thought they would be nice compliments.

While the cookie butter looks like peanut butter, it’s far from it. As described on it’s puuuuuuurtty glass jar, cookie butter is: “A deliciously unusual spread reminiscent of gingerbread and made with crushed biscuits.” Doesn’t that sound DELISH?? Well, it is. It’s perhaps the best thing I’ve ever eaten. I made it into a sandwich, but it has a few other consuming suggestions such as spreading it on pancakes or waffles (O.M.G) putting it on ice cream or celery and dipping pretzels in it. So much you can do with cookie butter. I even found quite a few recipes on Pinterest.
