The Final Road Trip
Well, this is all still sinking in. Exactly 8 weeks from yesterday and my little nuggets will be here. OH. MY. GOSH. Time to start panicking. My life is about to change for forever.
We took our last official “road trip” down south for a couple of days. From this point on I won’t be leaving Atlanta. After my friend Jessica went into labor in an entirely different city after having traveled back home for her baby shower, I learned my lesson. Thanks Jess!
The trip lasted less than 48 hours, but was so refreshing. I just love staying in hotels. Especially the Marriott. I’m not often disappointed by my stays with them and the hotel breakfast (which is the most important thing to consider when picking a hotel ;)) was superb.
I did bring my SLR with me on this trip, but I didn’t even touch it. I did however take a ton of mobile shots that I wanted to share with y’all. I really love my iPhone for that reason. It takes some of the best pictures, and the apps put my pictures over the top. It’s going to be great from when I’m on the go with the kids in the near future.
Here’s a mini look at our trip:
Bacon wrapped Bourbon Steak from Longhorn
Followed by Banana Foster Cheesecake for dessert
Who wakes up this early when they don’t have to be up until 10am? yep…I do! SMH
Complimentary hotel breakfast. Yes. Please.
Got a little blogging in while there as well
Filling up on gas before heading back home…
Goodbye Statesboro (please excuse the bug splattered on the windsheild lol)
For those of you interested in the apps that I use on my iPhone, they are Instagram (nay_nay84) and Camera+. 🙂

February 11, 2012 at 8:56 amHi Renee its Tori. I would like to say that I am so impressed with all thar you are doing to have memories before you have your babies. I love this animated scarpbook of the future. Your blogs are awesome and I enjoy reading them. Tatum and Tenzley will enjoy looking back on your art. Can’t wait for that baby shower :-)! Have a great day.
P.S – You are my first choice to be the photographer at my wedding. 😉

February 12, 2012 at 3:14 amHaha! Thanks Tori! Rather than keep a scrap book (that I probably wouldn’t complete) doing an online journal of their life was the best thing to do. I love to blog as well as take pictures so it naturally was a great fit for me. Thanks so much for following along. It really means a lot to me, Walt, Tatum and Tenley!! Xoxo — Renee
